Hi Liz,
ReplyDeleteThis is a really interesting and creative reinterpretation of "EatLikeAndy." When I was given the assignment instructions, I've never thought of the possibilities of including myself in acting out the scene. I admire your courage to present yourself in a candid way. This is a powerful narrative that I really enjoy. I'm kind of curious about why you chose the "EatLikeAndy" video and what inspired you to do the reinterpretation this way? ^^
It's amusing to see Andy and Liz eat in a rather amusing manner. Andy opens the bun only to put ketchup on the wrapper and Liz doesn't use the perfectly good-looking cutleries and eats spaghetti like a burger. If I were to present the project, I would display as a diptych, so both videos would play simultaneously in a loop.
ReplyDeleteHI Liz, I Really enjoyed your reinterpretation of the video, makes me hungry at the night! I also want to interview you for what inspired you to mock Andy's eating and what do you like most from this video. I like this video cause the idea was commercial from Burger King, If I reinterpretation this, I may add some hastag or logo on my video to make it funny hhh
ReplyDeleteHi yes, I love this. It's such a clever way to insert yourself into both internet culture and the art world, as well as avoid editing. But I think that this video can actually live on its own!
